- It was nice to meet so many of you today either before or after school. I look forward to working with all of you. Welcome to our new students Sean, Larissa and Richard. Welcome back to Sara. It should be an exciting and challenging year for all of us.
- Next weeks Blog will give you more academic information. This week it is just an informative note to share beginning of the year information with all of you.
- Today your children were given an agenda (planner). In it they will write their homework for the night and any projects they have. It is your job to make sure they do their homework, read nightly and sign the bottom of the agenda. Thank you for your support.
- Students were also give a Welcome Folder from me. It contains a Welcome Letter, Homework Policy, Blog notification Survey, Homework Expectations, Criteria to Be a Successful Fifth Grader, and Spelling Menu and detailed information about the Spelling Menu. Please review the contents of the folder. Please sign and return the homework policy, survey and Blog sheet. Thank you for your cooperation.
- Students also brought home a folder from the office and a fundraiser packet. Please fill out the appropriate forms and return them to school as soon as possible.

mrs.nolan I am pleased to be in your class . ilove your blog .I also love all your posts. and stories I would like to hear some of your boat stories and the scary ones I cant wait for them .
